A Poem A Day Keeps Your Writing Okay

Tears The tears come before you even knew they were on the way Hot; Salty; Choking; You can't breath They strangle you Wracks your chest and throat with pain There's no way to escape it You can't make it go away All there is to do is wait it out Maybe one day you'll be yourself again

Humanity Betrayal is the feeling in your throat when you look the one you love in the eyes for the last time As they turn away from you for the arms of another Hatred is the trembling in your hands as it slowly spreads its poison through your entire body Unrestrainable; Uncontrollable; Letting it flow free feels like flying Until you begin to fall. Anger and Betrayal swirling together-- A tornado of destruction It engulfs you Destroys you Takes you over like a demon You don't know what you're doing You can't stop it It destroys the very thing that made you feel this way in the first place You suppose joy should take its place But--           No The weight of guild settles into your veins, pulling you back to who you really are           A sniffling, sniveling, roiling, broiling, pile of Humanity

I Love You Like The Sun Loves The Moon Disastrously Recklessly Infinitely           --Chasing, pursuing endlessly I know I'll never get any closer           --Yet still I try Why?      I'm not sure I can't put my finger on it      My feelings for you ebb and flow           --Confusingly Why bother? I know I can't have you I know we can't be together I know you love another But still           --I love you like the sun loves the moon Disastrously

I recently lost my opportunity to be forced to write. So I've decided to make this blog. Every day, I will write a poem or part of a story, and post it. I hope anyone who reads these finds them enjoyable, and I hope I don't forget to write them.
